5miles Sew & Reap Programme 

This programme helps women with tailoring skills to supplement the family income. They custom-make dresses, blouses, trousers, cheongsams and do alterations.

Towdah Kebun (Farming Project)

Our aim is for Towdah Kebun (Garden of Thanksgiving Praise) to grow crops to feed the needy communities in Bintan as well as our orphanage.

Microfinance Programme

In order to help the poor stand on their own two feet, 5miles offers small loans to those who want to build homes, venture into goat farming, start a small business to support their family or even build their own fishing boats.
